	For those wondering, NO we are not a fancy polished pine log lodge. Though our lodge seems basic, our hunters can look forward to a clean & comfortable environment. Hunters will have all the convenience's needed while hunting in Illinois. The Backwoods Whitetails lodge is located right on a main highway in Ipava, Illinois and is all the further you should need to go during your hunt. We are conveniently located next to a small gas station/convenient store and is a 10 to 15 minute drive to most all Backwoods Properties. All hunters will be able to eat, sleep, shower, do laundry, lounge around and interact with the other hunters from this one location. Our lodge has individually bunked rooms that are private to the individual, the husband & wife couple or group of hunters.   Prior to your hunt, we will be in touch with each client ahead of time so as to be prepared for ALL your food & drink likes and dislikes. Each morning there will be a full continental style breakfast. Sorry no hot breakfasts are served. But, if a hunter would like/needs a specific item? All he/she has to do is ask and we will make it available. For early season & peak rut bow & gun hunters, there will be several items available for you to prepare yourself a sack style lunch. During our 2nd season, MuzzleLoader only and late season archery/winter hunts, a hot soup & sandwich style lunch is made available. In the evening meal we will prepare hunters a full course family style meal complete with salad, main course and dessert. Soft drinks, tea & bottled water is made available. Sorry, but we DO NOT offer alcoholic beverages. Hunters are welcome to bring their own alcohol and are responsible for purchasing those items. REMEMBER that it is not just your vacation! Therefore, All alcohol is to be consumed within moderation. EXCESSIVE DRINKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!! For the respect of others & scent control purposes, Smoking is not permitted inside the lodge! There is an outside deck&porch are designated for smokers.    Each year we are making improvements to the lodge. Currently, the lodge has a lounge area, dining area, cable TV, Internet, laundry room, Shower and Bathrooms. As well there is a meat cutting facility for those wanting to do the processing of their own animals. We hope you will find that our lodge is the complete and perfect place to stay while hunting with Backwoods Whitetails Outfitters. With always wanting to improve your hunting experience. So, without raising the cost of your hunt vacations (As time & money permits) we will be making the necessary improvements, upgrades and renovations needed to make your hunting vacation an enjoyable one. Because we always want to improve the lodge each year. Our future plans are to add more guest rooms, A larger Laundry room, add a new & larger banquet room w/ large breakfast & lunch area, more showers and bathrooms and kitchen for the cook.    Attention: Any hunter that does not want to stay at the lodge during their hunt will be responsible for making their own lodging arrangements. Sorry, but no discounts will be given to those hunters that choose to forgo Backwoods Whitetails lodging and hunters are still responsible for reporting to Backwoods Whitetails Staff each and every morning and everning. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Those that wish to bring/stay in your personal RV or Camper/trailer and want to hook up to the lodge power & water. A $200.00 hookup fee will be added to your hunt cost. NO SEWAGE DUMPING will be permitted as there is no sewage dump site available on the property!!
				Each guest room is supplied with an alarm clock, bed, light blanket, sheets and a pillow. Attention: For those hunters that require more or heavy blankets? We ask that you bring yourself a sleeping bag. For those that require multiple or need a special pillow? Please don't forget to bring your own. Wash cloths & bath towels are made available. But, for those that exercise extreme scent control practices or just simply require a special towel or wash cloth? Please don't forget to pack that as well. NOTICE TO ALL HUNTERS: Each hunter will be required to bring their own scent elimination items, such as shampoo & conditioners, bath & laundry soaps and scent eliminating sprays.
