| Not only is Bridget an avid lover of the outdoors. But in my book, she has the absolute most important and most appreciated job as the Camp Cook at Backwoods Whitetails. Allot of Bridget's hard work is done behind the scenes. From the moment she wakes up, her day begins with the daily tasks for keeping the lodge in a clean & sanitary condition. Her day is then followed by making fresh homemade bread, preparing fresh salad & desserts for dinner time. Then after dinner time is served & completed, she works hard to clean up and reset for the following day. Now not only does she complete the hardest daily job in camp. Bridget works just as hard in the woods with helping check, prepare, trim & hang tree stands and ground blinds. She is always there getting her hands dirty when we are planting some food plots or putting out & run the BWO trail cameras. Whether it's killing long beards, bow hunting for bucks, foraging for mushrooms or landing a largemouth bass she is always by my side working just as hard as I am, sometimes even harder. Though she feels like her efforts go unnoticed. It is the hunters that remind her that they are very thankful she is such a great cook and works hard to prepare them a home style meal that always leaves them looking forward to tomorrows dinner. It is her awesome meals that compliments the end of each day of hard hunting at Backwoods Whitetails and it is truly her meals that make a long day of hunting feel like a breeze. So, THANK YOU BRIDGET FOR ALL THAT YOU DO TO MAKE BACKWOODS WHITETAILS OUTFITTERS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO BE. I LOVE YOU GREATLY & GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR TALENTS AS A HOME CHEF. THIS CAMP WOULD NEVER BE WHAT IT IS WITHOUT YOU!! |
